In this course, you will learn the foundations of Yoga Therapy and gain powerful tools to help you find your way back into your body, regulate your nervous system and create a more peaceful and centered life for yourself.

Each 2-hour session will be divided into four pillars: education, interaction, movement, and stillness. 

You will explore different aspects of managing stress, learn how to rest, engage in slow yoga asana, and use yoga therapy balls to release tension in the body. You’ll also practice calming pranayama (breath work), and plenty of Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation).

But it’s not just about physical practices. Individual reflections are an important part of the course and will be done through journaling and sharing in smaller groups. You’ll also learn about sleep hygiene and why it’s important for your health.

Through a blend of yoga and exercises from Self Compassion based therapy you’ll be able to support your body fully and tap into your bodily signals. Centering and calming breathing exercises will help you regulate your nervous system and deepen your mind-body connection.

What is yoga therapy?
Yoga therapy is the use of yoga practices to promote self-care and improve physical and mental health conditions. By applying specific yoga practices and their known benefits, yoga therapy aims to alleviate or improve mental and physical ailments.

In this course, we will guide you to find your way back into your body so that you can make the necessary shifts to live a more peaceful, balanced, and healthy life.

About the teacher:
Hi there! My name is Ida Farneman and I’m a certified yoga teacher (500 hr), yoga therapist (800 hr), and a physiotherapist. I am currently working as a physiotherapist, anatomy teacher at yoga teacher trainings, yoga teacher and yoga therapist. I work with both individuals and groups, guiding them towards a more centered and connected self.
In my free time, I love spending time in nature and taking cold baths, having picnics, and spending quality time with my grandma.

I firmly believe that yoga is for everyone and can help us feel more centered and connected to ourselves and to the world around us. This understanding and exploration of the healing potential of yoga is what drew me to this practice, and I’m excited to share these life-changing tools with you.
