Scroll and enjoy!<\/p>\n<h2>What is yoga?<\/h2>\n<p>Yoga is a system of philosophy, the practice of conscious connection and an embodied state of living.<\/p>\n<p>Yoga derives from the root word &#8220;yug&#8221; or &#8220;yuj&#8221;. The sanskrit word for &#8220;yoke&#8221; as in to unite or connect an ox to a cart or a horse to a chariot.<\/p>\n<h4>Understanding yoga styles<\/h4>\n<h4>Vinyasa<\/h4>\n<p>Great for building strength and providing your body with a physical practice to help calm the busyness of the mind.<\/p>\n<h4>Hatha<\/h4>\n<p>A physical practice that benefits both body and mind! In Hatha yoga, you hold each pose a little longer than in styles like Vinyasa yoga, which can be especially helpful if you&#8217;re new to yoga.<\/p>\n<h4>Yin<\/h4>\n<p>This practice is the opposite of Yang and a great complement to our typically busy society.
