It is an integrated mind-body approach for restoring balance and adaptive functioning to the physical, physiological (digestion, respiration, cardiovascular, endocrine, immune and mental/emotional systems.) Together we will help you find your way back into your body so you can start making the shifts to live a more peaceful, balanced and healthy life.
WHO IS YOGA THERAPY SUITABLE FOR?
Yoga Therapy may be used to:
● Promote physiological balance, stress reduction, resilience and relaxation
● Reduce symptoms of illness or injury
● Establish more functional breath and movement patterns
● Promote mental wellbeing
● Improve the quality of sleep

WHAT WILL A SESSION WITH IDA LOOK LIKE?
Yoga Therapy is meeting you right where you are, and it’s a practice for everybody – you don’t need any previous experience, body type, age, gender, background etc.
During a session, we will work therapeutically with you and your needs. This could include releasing physical tension through movement or massage balls, working with emotional imbalances (including stress, anxiety, depression etc.) and use your breath and meditation to support your body fully.
Together we will help you find your way back into your body so you can start making the shifts to live a more peaceful, balanced and healthy life.
I’m Ida Farneman; a certified yoga teacher, physiotherapy student and a yoga therapist in training. It was when I did my yoga teacher training in India I quickly noticed how the practice affected me, not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually. My experience is that through the daily practice of movement, breath, stillness, as well as sharing and reflection I started connecting to myself in a different and more holistic way, tools I knew I had to share with the world and the people around me.
It is this understanding and exploration of how healing and grounding yoga can be that we will work with in our sessions together.I’m a firm believer that yoga is for everybody and can help us feel more centered and connected to ourselves and the world around us. All you need to do is book a time and show up as you are, and we start from there. Sessions can be held in Swedish or English.
