THE MIND – Philosophy & Sequencing for teachers

Manomaya Kosha | Bhairavī & Chinnamastā

*This course is continued education for yoga teachers and part of our 300 hr advanced yoga teacher training. All yoga teachers can take this course separately. To read more about the full program in 300h YTT click here!

Join us for a 4-day immersive journey that softens the boundary between body and mind. In this training, you’ll explore dynamic meditations, discover the power of your voice, and learn to design thoughtful and expressive yoga sequences.
It’s a heart-centered path toward holistic transformation.

Meditation, in this module, goes far beyond stillness. Together, we’ll explore a tapestry of techniques—from rhythmic shaking and expressive dance to the grounding depth of OSHO meditations.

Lisa’s teaching on this module weaves together movement, breath, music, and vibration to support deeper presence and self-expression. Through her warm and encouraging guidance, participants are invited to show up exactly as they are and feel more confident taking up space – both physically and energetically.

This course is about refining your teaching. We’ll combine anatomy, philosophy, and creative design to help you build meaningful, well-rounded class experiences.
You’ll expand your skills in workshop planning, cueing, and language use, and walk away with a more vivid and personal teaching voice.

This training blends theory and practice. You’ll enhance your teaching with tools for meditation diversity, emotional intelligence, and communication. Together, we’ll reflect on the ego, habitual patterns, and how emotions can be used to inspire—not restrict—your teaching.

Finally, you’ll connect with a like-minded group of teachers. You’ll grow, share, and gain the confidence to lead with knowledge and warmth.

HERE’S WHAT’S ON THE SCHEDULE

    • Voice Therapy Work
Our guide Lisa Åkesson brings a powerful mix of insight, energy, and tools. This part of the training helps you reconnect with your voice and plant yourself in a new light.
Together, we’ll explore how to be truly heard by first learning to listen inward.

    • Loads of Practice
Meditation will be a core focus. You’ll experience many styles firsthand and reflect through shared discussion. It’s a chance to understand both the energetic and practical dimensions of meditation.

    • Sequencing
We’ll study sequencing through the lens of Vinyasa Krama Yoga. You’ll learn to shape your classes using arcs, cycles, and symbolic blueprints—especially those inspired by goddess energies.
This approach encourages creativity and helps you design classes that feel honest and fully yours.

  • Subtle Body & Mind Exploration
We’ll go deep into how emotions, stress, and the subtle body influence both mind and movement. Through discussion and practice, we’ll connect theory and experience using mudras, nadis, and deities as guiding tools.

Lisa Åkesson – Sound Healing & Voice Work

Lisa thought she peaked in movement at age 14 when she was the best in Sweden at orienteering. But then yoga and Ayurveda came into her life while living abroad in London in 2013, and it’s been a constant in her life ever since. Since then, she has expanded her knowledge through training all over the world. Over time, music, sound, and voice became bigger parts of her offerings, and they are now integral parts of her teaching to support her students to come as they are and be unafraid to take up space through sound and vibration.
