Navarātri, the “Nine Nights of the Goddess,” is one of the most sacred and beloved festivals of the Divine Feminine.
For nine nights and ten days, devotees across India honor the many faces of Durgā—the Mother who creates, nourishes, protects, transforms, and ultimately leads us home to our deepest truth.
Festival times are portals. They invite us to step out of ordinary time and enter a sacred rhythm of story, devotion, practice, and remembrance. Navarātri is such a portal—a chance to deepen our relationship with the Goddess and to encounter the living powers she represents within ourselves.
During these nine nights, we will journey through the Navadurgā, the nine forms of Durgā, exploring their myths, symbolism, mantras, and deeper teachings. Each goddess embodies a unique expression of śakti: courage, wisdom, devotion, resilience, discernment, fierce compassion, and transformation. Together they reveal not only the journey of the Goddess, but the journey of life itself—and the journey of the spiritual seeker. This course is fully online, quite light in what is offered and what is asked of you. I will offer it live, since it’s more electric and potent that way, but you join when you can.
Through teachings, reflection, mantra, meditation, journaling, and embodied practice, we will explore how these archetypal energies move through our own lives. The stories of the Goddess are not merely ancient myths; they are maps of the human experience, illuminating the challenges, initiations, and awakenings that shape our path. Like a child resting in the arms of the Mother, Navarātri offers an opportunity to soften, listen, and receive. It is a time to be nourished by devotion, strengthened by practice, and reminded of the divine presence that pulses within the heart. Whether you are new to Goddess traditions or have walked this path for years, these nine nights offer a chance to reconnect with the sacred feminine, deepen your sādhana, and immerse yourself in one of the most powerful spiritual observances of the year. May these nine nights open the heart, awaken inner strength, and reveal the wisdom of the Goddess already residing within you.
First meeting: ca. 90 minutes of instructions, then 30 minutes daily. We will end with a longer session on day 10. It will be live every afternoon, and the recording will be sent to you before the evening so that you can choose to attend live or go on your own. No previous knowledge or experience needed.
