The Power of Building Positive Habits

Every day, we think around 60,000 thoughts. Of those, 75% are negative, and 90% are repeats of the day before. These mental patterns shape how we experience life, often without us even noticing. But change is within reach, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. The key is consistency and a supportive community.

This September, Yoga Folks invites you to a gentle Month of Discovery. A space to return to yourself after the summer, free from pressure or hustle. Step out of the collective stress and into a rhythm that feels nourishing. New to yoga and meditation? Curious to explore? Or maybe you’re a long-time practitioner or teacher ready to reignite your spark? This is your space. Together, we’ll explore small, sustainable shifts that bring clarity, steadiness, and ease.

The commitment:

  • 15 minutes of daily meditation
  • Journaling to reflect and reset
  • Three yoga classes per week (online or in-studio)

If you’re looking for a “30 days to get fit” challenge, this may not be the program for you. Instead, our focus is on tuning into what your body and mind need most. Through daily meditation, you’ll learn to listen more deeply to yourself.

Need calm and stress relief? Restorative or yin yoga could be your go-to. Craving more energy and movement? Explore our vinyasa, rocket, or hatha classes, or why not our classes in our sun lamps. Or, find balance with a mix of both. This month is all about honoring your unique needs and creating positive change at your own pace.

Invite friends, family, or colleagues to join. Transformation is even more powerful when shared. As a community, we’ll support each other in creating small, sustainable changes that have a lasting impact on all areas of life.

It’s time to pause, reflect, and choose something new, together. One habit. One thought. One moment at a time.

Practical Info:

Kick-off Yoga class:

  • Monday, August 25 | 18:15- 19:30
  • Introduction to the program and 60 minutes Vinyasa with Isabell

We will also have a WhatsApp group for everyone, where we’ll share daily check-ins, motivation, and support.

Daily Commitments:

  • 15-minute daily meditation practice (we’ll provide a variety of meditation options)
  • Journaling before and after meditation

Yoga:

  • 3 yoga classes per week (you can choose from our schedule, and you can attend either online or in-studio)

Additional Benefits:

  • Monday breakfast after each Monday morning class at the studio (08:00 – 09:00) – info on how to book will be shared in the introduction of the program
  • Final gathering on the last Monday breakfast
