In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore and strengthen the teamwork between you and your support person. We will talk about your birth plan, look at routines at the hospital, and what you need at home to feel prepared.
What state does the mother want to be in to feel safe and held during birth, and how can the partner/support person assist with sound, touch, and presence? Come to this informative and juicy workshop to get tips and tricks from a senior doula! You book 1 spot for you and your support partner together.
About the facilitator:
Sofia Elmström has been devoted to the practice of yoga since 1997 and has shared her teachings since 2001. For more than 16 years, she has guided and educated yoga teachers in the art of rest, stillness, and embodied presence.
Since 1999, Sofia has been holding women’s circles, creating spaces for connection, reflection, and transformation. As a doula since 2010 and a practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy since 2017, her work is rooted in deep listening, trust, and respect for the innate wisdom of the body.
Known for her perceptive presence, extensive experience, and eye for detail, Sofia offers a calm and supportive space where there is nothing to achieve and nowhere to perform. Her approach is grounded in the understanding that yoga is not a performance, but a state of being.
Comfortable in the slow, the subtle, and the still, she gently guides others toward greater connection with themselves, their bodies, and the rhythms of life.
