Individual Therapy with Charlene

Individual Therapy

In therapy, there’s room to meet the parts of yourself that have been waiting, quietly, to be felt and understood: old ways of surviving that no longer need to work so hard, and a more spacious, compassionate relationship with yourself that can begin to take root.

Charlene works with adults and young people navigating change, loss, anxiety, or low self-worth, and with anyone drawn to the quieter, ongoing work of knowing themselves more fully. Her psychodynamic foundation is complemented by ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), with strong evidence for anxiety and depression, and mentalization-based approaches (MBT), which support emotional regulation and relational understanding.

About Charlene

Charlene is a therapist and counsellor with a professional degree in social work (socionomexamen) and postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has worked clinically since 2007 with children, young people, and families. Her approach is body-aware and shaped by an intersectional perspective, attentive to how identity, culture, and lived experience shape each person’s story. Sessions are offered in Swedish and English.

Charlene welcomes clients in person at Yoga Folks on Södermalm in Stockholm and online.
